How to Choose Mountain Hotels in Italy

Ardent skiers love the mountain trails that are based in the lofty Italian Alps. If you are thinking of heading to them, one of your foremost priorities would be to book mountain top resorts in Italy. Some of these hotels are tucked away in Alta Valtellina in elevations above 1,816 metes; some other go further higher reaching up to 2,798 meters.

For whom are these Hotels ideal for?

In general, these hotels are ideal for just about anyone. However, there are ardent skiers whose sole purpose of the vacation would be to go down one of these slopes, and then such hotels suit these sports enthusiasts.

With some slopes boasting a length of 115 kilometers accessible via over thirty lifts to transport these enthusiasts, it's important for the traveler to understand what types of activities are based in the hotels they choose.

What to look for in a Hotel?

While price and availability play an important role in selecting your hotel, there are a few other factors that should be considered by holiday-goers. Consider the following as a guide that would help you select the best hotels that will make your holiday with family, friends, or partner an exciting one.

What you should be looking for in Hotels

After a grueling day of indulging in snow sports, your body will love some time in a hotel spa. Many hotels in the region offer their guests complimentary access to their spas, sports center, and salt rooms. After a cold day, this will be a welcome change in the scene that will be appreciated. When booking your hotel ensure they extend such facilities to their guests.

You will need as much space to store your skis and other luggage. By using the complimentary storage space offered by hotels, you could save up a lot of space in your rooms.

Many hotels offer snowboarding passes, access to activities happening in the vicinity. If you are traveling with family, make sure to get a hold of a few of these tickets to enjoy the Italian mountain terrain.

Some mountain hotels will ferry their guests to the ski slopes free of charge; this would be an ideal choice. Rather than braving the region on your own, having a complimentary service would be of great help to you.

Kids and youth activities will be of use if you are traveling with family.

On-site restaurants are needed; while it's great to be able to dine at several locations you can never know when to expect drastic weather changes.

Not everyone will appreciate the great outdoors; when booking a hotel look for other activities like shopping that can also be a form of entertainment.

Exhausting holidays? Never again!

People from all over the world are many times during the day, under a lot of pressure. They experience pain in different areas, such as their neck, back, and head. This pain is usually associated with stress and most of the time going on holidays seems to be a perfect solution. But without proper care and assistance from trained personnel, holidays can be exhausting. Wellness hotel Livigno in Italy offers visitors a relaxing opportunity to fight stress and go back home fresh as new.

Have you experience those moments, in front of the computer, when you have to close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing rhythm to calm a hammering headache? If your answer was affirmative you may be facing a very bad and stressful situation. Everybody experiences stress. Scientifically some stress is good for your body. It keeps you alert and may save you from real danger. But, what happens if we are constantly alert and there is no real danger ahead? Our body starts to get loaded with stress that is not being released and may alter our body functions.

So, to avoid stress you decide to go on vacation, take a trip and that’s it. This is a common mistake. Sometimes traveling is not enough to relieve stress. Sometimes we go back home feeling more tired and stressed than at the beginning. So what is the solution? Simple and effortless, no lies here, relaxing. Relaxation is what eases stress and therefore gives the body a pause from being alert the whole time. Holidays are a good option, and if you can relax it becomes a better option.

In the borders between Italy and Switzerland, there is a small and traditional town called Livigno. It offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy natural landscapes and also some hotels that have become top of the list when it comes to relaxing and pampering yourself. The Alexander Charme Hotel, located in Livigno, offers among other services a Spa with many facilities that can help you find that relaxed state. In the wellness Hotel Livigno, all headaches are gone away since relaxation is part of the focus of the place.

Most of the times, medicines such as pills and chemical compounds do not fight the source of stress, or stress itself, they just increase your pain threshold, this means that you are able to endure more painful stimuli than before, but the main event causing you pain (a headache or a backache) is not going to disappear. The spa in the wellness Hotel Livigno offers a variety of traditional and alternative practices that can help you fight the source of the stress level you may be experiencing.

The Spa at the hotel offers Jacuzzis, a luxury sauna, a massage room, emotional shower and even a Turkish bath. For those who do not know how these practices work the explanation is quite simple. In the sauna, your body is exposed to humidity and hot temperatures to allow sweat take all the toxins away from the body, combined with some showers it gives the skin a rest from external elements continuously damaging it. Massage sessions, on the other hand, offer as well, multiple benefits. Just the contact of the hands on the skin is already reducing tensions and easing muscular pain. Additionally, you can improve swollen areas and blood circulation, which will activate other healing processes.

In conclusion, we cannot allow stress to damage our bodies and to cause more aches and illnesses because this directly affects our performance every day. When choosing a holiday destination to ease stress, keep in mind Italy and Livigno will help you solve those issues with its magnificent scenery and top-notch people.

Holidays in Livigno

After working for so many days we all want some days of peace and quiet. Spending a few days to reestablish our body, mind, and energy so that you can go back to work and have a better-than-ever performance – is highly recommended. I had been considering going on holidays to a spa, something which I had as one of the best options to soothe my body and give some rest to my head. Italy was already top of the list. And finding the small town of Livigno was a marvelous event.

First, let’s place it on a map; Livigno is one small yet great town in the Italian Alps, just next to the Swiss Border. It is located around 1900 feet above the sea level, which gives to it temperatures that go from below zero to mild 16°C. Ideal for winter sports but which leaves also room to having a pleasant stay during summer.

The hotel was bound to be great; there is a simple reason behind this, the Wellness Hotel Livigno. Having a spa experience is considered to be one of the most effective relaxation ways. The human body, after all, the stress produced by having a busy life, demanding and challenging job and sometimes a demanding family, needs a rest. The wellness Hotel Livigno offers a unique opportunity to recover from all this, and to give your body a royal treatment by using their facilities.

There are two separate to Jacuzzis, a massage room and my favorite, the sauna. Inside a sauna temperatures may go from 80 to 100°C but since they have an exact amount of humidity visitors are not going to get burned.  Having a sauna session at theWellness HotelLivignocan give you a variety of benefits, which may include:

•    You get rid of toxins such as alcohol, nicotine, and sodium
•    Your defense system gets a boost and it is ready for new challenges
•    It improves your cardiovascular performance

There are, however, some tips and pieces of advice to be followed when visiting any spa and the Livigno Hotel Spa is not the exception:

•    Take several showers during your day of spa, every ten or 5 minutes of heat go and take a shower.
•    Drink enough water, little and continuous sips will do the job
•    Use a proper outfit after your spa session, your body should slowly change its temperature.

Inside the wellness Hotel Livigno comfort and relaxation go hand in hand. Others services offered in the spainclude a Turkish bath, well immersion in cold water and emotional shower - always under the guidance and surveillance of highly qualified personnel. This way all the possible issues that were giving you a headache are forced to leave your body and return no more. How can somebody remain stressed after having a session at the luxury sauna? The benefits and enjoyable experiences a visitor can have in this cozy town and in the hotel are heavyweight reasons for choosing Italy as a holiday destination.

To sum up, Italy, and the Livigno Hotel Spa, offered a great mix of elegant and beautiful scenery and the exact amount of peace and quiet anybody may be looking forward to when it comes to deciding where to go on a holiday trip.

Livigno, unique destination

Planning your next holidays is not an easy task when it comes to all the previous steps that need to be taken. Preparation, booking, reservations and most importantly: choosing the right destination. Europe tops the list, many countries offer enjoyable activities and places to go; whether you are looking for an exciting ski ride or a relaxing day to recover from all the fuzziness of your everyday life. Italy, located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, shares borders with Switzerland. Near this border, we can find the small town of Livigno. This picturesque old town shares with its visitors the uniqueness of the Italian landscape and all the beauty of the magnificent Alps. The Hotel will take care and comfort all the individuals who decide to enter this area of wellness.

Inside the walls of the Livigno Hotel wellness visitors can leave behind all worries and aches and focus on giving their bodies some pampering moments that are absolutely necessary for going back to work with a fully recharged energy boost. The human body needs a resting time in between working sessions. Like all muscles in training, they need a few extra minutes to recover and continue their performance. The Spa has the appropriate facilities to ensure visitors those resting moments.

For those who visit the place for the first time, a Turkish bath is a method of relaxation similar to a Sauna; it involves a process of free perspiration that will be followed by an increase in temperatures, a massage and a shower with cold water. After following these steps your body is completely relaxed and starts setting in motion regenerative processes that may help you getting rid of toxins, reducing swollen areas and easing muscular pain.

The harmful effects that stress can have in our bodies are well known by the community in general. However, it seems to be that eating those ailments by the use of pills and chemicals is more popular that using alternative and natural remedies and practices; such as the use of a Sauna, a massage or a session in the Turkish bath in the Livigno Hotel wellness.

From a natural point of view, our bodies know what the natural processes to eliminate toxins and to get rid of any waste we may have accumulated are. Sweating, receiving proper hydration, exfoliating and relaxing are activities that may not fit your agenda while leading a busy life, but all these methods and practices can find a time block if your holiday purpose was to give yourself extra time and care to pamper your body and soul.

Italy has many places to visit and enjoy; many landscapes and antique buildings waiting to be visited. Livigno and this represent one of the main reasons this small town is topping the list of favorite destinations.
